Village Administrator

The Village of Baltimore, in Fairfield County, Ohio, is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Village Administrator.

The Village Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of all Village departments, except the Police Department; oversees the operation of the Village’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants; will seek out and submit grant applications; will set goals, objectives, and evaluate the performance for all employees; will authorize expenditures and operate within the budget set by Council; and enforces the provisions of the Zoning Code and advises Council as needed, including reviewing all zoning applications.

The Administrator is also appointed to several committees and will attend various Committee and Council meetings.
Qualified candidates must have at least two (2) years of college in a related field; five (5) years’ experience in management; preferably public service administration; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Creating and following budgets, managing personnel, large projects, and public administration. Experience in Community Planning/Zoning is a must for this position.

Salary range, depending on experience and qualifications: $66,000 - $75,000.
