Fairfield County Welcomes New Senior Living Facility

Lancaster, Ohio – Fairfield County will soon be home to an 81-unit, 78,000-square-foot residential care facility for senior living in the development formerly known as Timbertop along North Columbus Street in Lancaster.

Lemmon Development has started construction on the facility which will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care services, and expects the project to be completed in the first half of 2025. Lemmon Development has specialized in property development projects across Ohio for over 40 years and has completed senior living campuses in Hudson, Ohio and Danbury, Ohio.

“As growth continues in our county, the need for housing, particularly for older adults, continues to grow as well,” said Rick Szabrak, Economic Development Director for Fairfield County. “This project will fulfill that need while also accommodating the people in our community with memory loss who require extended care.”

The facility will be located on the property adjacent to the VC Bend apartment community on Timbertop Street.
