    Accurate Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is looking for Business Development/HVAC Sales Representative. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.

    JOB OVERVIEW
    As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for the growth of Accurate’s HVAC and plumbing sales in the Central Ohio market. You will lead and develop marketing and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow our reputation and relationships. 
     
    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand, follow, and improve upon Accurate’s philosophy/culture of customer service, relationship building, and Win-Win-Win. 
    • Promote and further develop Accurate’s reputation and leadership in our commercial markets.
    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Accurate’s offerings and pricing. 
    • Responsible for achieving budgeted sales and lead generation.
    TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
    • Become knowledgeable in all of Accurate’ s commercial offerings. 
    • Work with the commercial management to develop a plan to become knowledgeable in basic commercial HVAC and plumbing concepts, pricing, and sales approaches. Education includes, but not limited to independent study, Accurate training classes, on the job training, outside training sessions, etc. 
    • Meet with commercial team to know available resources for support and training. 
    SALES
    • Develop a clearly defined sales plan to grow commercial customer base including prospect list, sales schedules, and sales tracking templates. Responsible for generating your own leads. 
    • Review and research existing or prior clients through current database to generate additional sales.
    • Acquire new customers through cold calling and making outside sales calls on a consistent basis. 
    • Maintain contact and build relationships with major accounts within territory.
    • Be active in local chamber, civic, and business organizations for networking. Attend after hours events to promote Accurate Mechanical. 
    • Arrange first meetings and ongoing appointments with future and existing customers.
    • Conduct building surveys in order to develop proposals to customers. 
    • Create sales proposals, quotes, cost estimates and presentations for clients in assigned territory.
    • Responsible for the direct sales of new commercial service agreements.
    • Utilize existing personnel to complete estimates and proposals including technicians and managers. 
    • Submit all required sales reports, expenses, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Provide weekly sales reports to commercial management. 
    • Work directly with the commercial management, CSRs, and technicians to ensure total customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and new opportunities. 
    • Other duties as assigned by the commercial leadership.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Proven experience in commercial business to business sales with track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Ability to develop new business relationships utilizing communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • 2+ years commercial sales experience. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • HVAC and/or plumbing industry experience (preferred).
    • High School diploma
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    COMMISSION
    • Commission structure defined by Executive Management
