Join us at the Ale House 1890 on Thursday, Aug.12, for our second Women in History Luncheon, as living history interpreter Darlene Gage portrays the Civil War hero who became known as “Mother” Bickerdyke to thousands of wounded Civil War soldiers. Menu: traditional chicken salad sandwiches or Santa Fe wraps, crisp house salad, Italian pasta salad, sweets tray, and beverage. The luncheon starts promptly at 11:30am, with the program following.
