  • OSU Extension Seeking Volunteers for ''Real Money. Real World'' Program

"Real Money. Real World." is a financial literacy program for youth, produced by Ohio State University Extension and offered in schools throughout Fairfield County.

"Real Money. Real World." is fun and distinctive because it includes an interactive spending simulation that provides the opportunity to make lifestyle and budget choices similar to those made by young adults.

As a program of Ohio State University Extension, the most preferred and successful "Real Money. Real World." applications arise from partnerships between the county OSU Extension office, the school, and the business community.

OSU Extension is seeking members of our Lancaster and Fairfield County business community to assist with the spending simulations. Volunteers can offer as little as a few hours to as much as a few days each year helping with spending simulations.

If you would like to become involved in this program to help youth get a better understanding of household spending decisions, please contact Stacy Hicks at OSU Extension at hicks.686@osu.edu or 740-277-4629.
