  • Field Service Technician

    Chime Master Systems is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to join their team.


    • Frequent nationwide travel in company service vehicles or on airlines
    • Visit clients at churches, universities and civic buildings
    • Performs scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems
    • Inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order
    • Electromechanical actuator installation, setup and troubleshooting
    • Audio equipment installation, setup and troubleshooting
    • Complete all terminations, and equipment installations
    • Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational
    • Provide service and customer support during field visits
    • Mechanical maintenance including checking bolt security and lubrication
    • High School Diploma or equivalent, Vocational/Technical Degree preferred
    • Teachable and patient
    • Willing to work at height
    • Strong work ethic
    • Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand
    • Cares for company and customer property
    • Thorough with record keeping and documentation

    Physical Requirements
    • Being able to lift up to 70 lbs.; Push or pull up to 50 lbs.
    • Climb ladders that extend up to 30 ft. in height
    • Able to climb through a 18x20 inch hatch
    • Valid driver's license and insurance
    • Drug-free workplace with random testing
    Technical Skills
    • Able to think logically and troubleshoot problems
    • Competency with basic hand tools
    • Experience in safely operating power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.)
    • Ability to use a computer and basic typing skills
