Chime Master Systems is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Frequent nationwide travel in company service vehicles or on airlines
- Visit clients at churches, universities and civic buildings
- Performs scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems
- Inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order
- Electromechanical actuator installation, setup and troubleshooting
- Audio equipment installation, setup and troubleshooting
- Complete all terminations, and equipment installations
- Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational
- Provide service and customer support during field visits
- Mechanical maintenance including checking bolt security and lubrication
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Vocational/Technical Degree preferred
- Teachable and patient
- Willing to work at height
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand
- Cares for company and customer property
- Thorough with record keeping and documentation
Interpersonal Skills
- Build positive relationships with customers and assist with contract retention
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks
- Professional 'can do' attitude in all respects
- Know how act respectfully in worship facilities
Physical Requirements
- Being able to lift up to 70 lbs.; Push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders that extend up to 30 ft. in height
- Able to climb through a 18x20 inch hatch
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Drug-free workplace with random testing
Technical Skills
- Able to think logically and troubleshoot problems
- Competency with basic hand tools
- Experience in safely operating power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.)
- Ability to use a computer and basic typing skills
