Be part of a Lancaster tradition and join us for the 41st annual Candlelight Tour, presented by the Fairfield County Heritage Association. The theme is “Behold His Birth.” Guides lead guests down candlelit paths to seven historic churches in Downtown Lancaster. Each church will present its own holiday music program, and variety of musical styles will be performed over the evening HOW IT WORKS: The evening begins at 6 pm with simultaneous performances at First Presbyterian Church and First United Methodist Church. For the second performance, the audiences switch churches. And then attendees are divided into four groups to visit these churches: • St. John’s Episcopal Church. • Emanuel Lutheran Church. • St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. • First English Lutheran Church. All the groups meet up at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church for the grand finale.

Tour goers are advised to wear comfortable shoes, dress warmly and bring a flashlight. A van will be provided for those who have difficulty walking.
